Papatuanuku Art. Part 1

This week we have been learning about using mixed media in our art work.
We have been exploring art created by Maori artist, Theresa Reihana. We wanted to create art to
present our understanding about Papatuanuku.
First we drew a pencil sketch portrait of Papatuanuku, then we used PVA glue and sand to shape the face of Papatuanuku.

    Hi, I'm Sam from room 2. Cool room 3 I like how you used the sticks to sketch the faces. You could make them better with smaller eyes. Ohaeawai school
